Surf Report for the middle of August 2008. Water temps have warmed up into the low 70s. Great surf from BERTHA last week with all surf spots firing from Corolla to Frisco pier. Fishing Report for August. Some good fishing beginning to show up on the northern beaches. Nice flounder have been caught in the inlet. Pulled a couple of Rockfish from the Oregon Inlet Bridge on Hatteras Island. You can still book a charter to go offshore fishing for tuna, dolphin and marlin in the gulf stream.
